This was called the quiet task because we were not allowed to use any words other than "yes" and "no". The main focus of this task was props, however we did not have many props to use because they were not suitable with our storyline.
This is the Quiet Task video which our group produced. Mustaq is entering the toilet but Ridwan is also in need of the toilet, this creates a scene as only one cubicle is available so Mustaq and Ridwan argue over going to the toilet. They are both angry with each other, meanwhile Ataur lets himself into the toilet leaving Mustaq and Ridwan even more annoyed and still arguing with each other.
My main parts for this piece of work were acting for 1 shot throughout the video and creating ideas for the storyboard, also I took part in editing small parts of the video. During this task, I think that I acquired quite a few skills which I didn't know before. I learnt how to use the 'iMovie HD' software to edit our video. I also learnt how to use transitions on an iMac which was new to me.
I think that the most difficult part of this task was thinking of a storyline to use without using any words apart from "yes" and "no". However, I think that our idea of the storyline was successful as the video helps the audience understand what happens although there are only two words used in the video.
